The Morning Riff Show

The Morning Riff is a two-hour, high-energy classic rock wake-up show airing Fridays, 7–9 AM ET on Rock n Roll Radio. It hands off straight into the station’s Power Rock n’ Roll Radio Show at 9 AM, so the energy never dips.

Target audience

• Core: adults 35–64 in the New York metro who grew up on ’70s and ’80s rock. They listen while getting ready or commuting by car, subway, LIRR or Metro-North, on the app or a smart speaker.
• Secondary: adults 25–34 from the vinyl-revival crowd who found classic rock through streaming, film and TV soundtracks.
• Worldwide: the station streams globally; 7–9 AM ET is noon–2 PM in London, a natural crossover with Good Morning London fans.
• Mindset: they want energy, short breaks and a reason to text in, not long monologues.
