What’s new with Yes
- A new album. Aurora, the band’s 24th studio album, produced by Steve Howe, came out June 12, 2026.
- Get well, Steve. The 2026 U.K. and European tour was postponed for Howe’s surgery. In September he said he’s recovering slowly.
- Back in 2027. The rescheduled Fragile tour runs May 2 to 20, 2027, with two nights at the London Palladium.
- Fragile turns 55 in November 2026.
Station picks: the Yes songs to start with
Our five essentials:
- Roundabout (1971). The acoustic intro, Chris Squire’s bass and an organ finale. Prog perfection.
- Owner of a Lonely Heart (1983). Trevor Rabin’s riff took them to No. 1 in the U.S.
- I’ve Seen All Good People (1971). Harmonies, then a joyful gallop.
- Long Distance Runaround (1971). Short, tricky and irresistible.
- Starship Trooper (1971). A three-part journey with a soaring finale.
Three deep cuts worth your time:
- Close to the Edge (1972). Nearly 19 minutes, and every one of them earns its place.
- And You and I (1972). A gorgeous, sweeping epic.
- South Side of the Sky (1971). A dramatic, stormy Fragile deep cut.
If you like Yes, try

- Queen: operatic ambition
